Analysis Technology Development

Sanigen’s NGS Technology Department has provided user-customized NGS services for food-related industries. We also has obtained and maintained the genomic big data that plays a key role in the development of Sanigen’s various molecular testing products.

2-1. NGS services

Sanigen, an official channel partner of Illumina in South Korea, has provided not only various NGS services using Illumina’s NGS platforms
but also NGS instruments and/or consumables.

Based on genomic big data, Sanigen provides precise NGS analysis for the research and application of microbiology.

Applications Whole genome sequencing (Bacteria, Yeast, Virus, etc.)

Identification of bacterial strains used in functional food manufacturing and verification of its safety
Monitoring of the food manufacturing environment
Microbiome analysis from various environmental samples including soil and water
Fecal microbiome analysis from human and animals

2-2. Genomic big data construction

Sanigen’s various molecular testing products have been developed using genomic big data. NGS Technology Department has constructed the database using the big data, and developed software for the high-throughput biomarker identification, NGS analysis, etc.
