Sanigen signs a product supply agreement with Thailand’s ‘Smart Science’

Sanigen announced on the 24th that it signed a three-year agency contract with Smart Science, a Thai scientific equipment distributor, and will target the Southeast Asian market, including Thailand.
Through this contract, we plan to supply the ‘ForLabs™’ lineup, a product for sampling and pre-processing during food safety inspection, to the Thai market.
This product has completed three domestic patent registrations and is currently being supplied to more than 250 domestic companies and institutions. Currently, Sanigen plans to proactively pursue a strategy of spec-in to countries where the company's products are exported, in line with the growth of the food industry in local Southeast Asian countries.
Thailand is an economic powerhouse with the second largest economy among the 10 ASEAN countries, following Indonesia. The company explains that the food safety-related market is highly likely to expand as consumption of high-quality food increases due to high productivity due to agricultural modernization and improvements in processed food technology and facilities.
Sanigen is currently pursuing Korea's first food safety listing through a merger with KB No. 23 spec (440200).
An official from Sanigen said, “Starting with this supply, we will expand the supply of product lines such as high-tech products Genelix and Genext,” and added, “We will also discover local dealer candidates for countries such as the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia and discuss collaboration.” “We are making progress and will accelerate our expansion into Japan and Southeast Asia.”
